Missionaries.

Our first year of marriage my husband was a campus missionary at American University in Washington DC. Along with itinerating and raising support came writing newsletters and sending out missionary cards. Of course, to send out a missionary card, you needed a good family picture. With only the two of us, you would think that would be a fairly simple process.

Yeah, not so much.

So when I got a call right before Easter from the daughter of some dear friends of ours asking if I could possibly squeeze them in for a quick, last minute session, specifically to get a family picture for their missionary cards, I knew that I wanted to fit them in!

Rain threatened, a sweater snagged, and little man was not super happy about getting photographed after being in the car for 90 minutes! But you'd never be able to tell from their final pictures. In 15 minutes, we captured exactly what we needed to and then some!

They are such a beautiful family, and I'm excited that I could be a part of their missionary journey in this small way!
