Now Booking Holiday Mini Sessions!

As many of you know, I have stepped back from professional photography these past 18 months to focus more on my family and to adjust to working full-time for a lovely little non-profit downtown. But I miss all of your smiling faces, and I am itching to get behind the camera again! So this fall, I am so excited to offer holiday mini-sessions for the first time!

Here are the details!

Two dates, eight time slots* –

Saturday, October 5
Location: Randolph-Macon College/Ashland
Times: 3:30, 4:00, 4:30 and 5:00 PM

Saturday, October 19
Location: University of Richmond
Times: 3:30, 4:00, 4:30 and 5:00 PM 

Each mini-session is $100 and includes 25 minutes of photography and 15 high-resolution images with full print release, delivered within two weeks of your session date. Please contact me with your first and second choice of date/time. Once I confirm your appointment, 50% deposit will be required to hold your slot.

If you are interested in a family session, you are welcome to book that instead! A family session is $250 and includes 60-90 minutes of photography at a location of your choice and a minimum of 40 high-resolution images with full print release, delivered within three weeks of your session date. I will only be booking a maximum of three family sessions this fall in addition to the mini-sessions, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested in one of these limited opportunities. Once I confirm your appointment, a contract and a 50% deposit will be required to hold your date and time.

Fifteen.

As in, we completed their whole session in fifteen minutes.

Their mama is one of my closest friends. I love her dearly.

Right before the holidays, we have a conversation that usually goes like this...

C: Can you come over and take a few pictures for our Christmas card?

Me: Sure, when?

C: Sunday?

Me: Sunday? As in two days from now?

C: Yes, maybe before church? Just for thirty minutes! We'll be ready early!

I always find this funny because "early" is not part of their vocabulary.

Planning for thirty minutes usually means that I have about fifteen.

No worries, though.

Because we always nail it in fifteen!

Sisters.

Sisters, sisters, never were there such devoted sisters!

Mama wanted portraits of her girls that showed their bond as sisters and that she could use for Christmas cards and in place of school pictures. I think we captured all that she wanted and hoped for and even more! Love these sisters!

I love that they centered the first half of their session around their alma mater.

The second half of the session took place on their wooded lot where they are building their new home.

Beautiful land.

And beautiful baby.

 

Fall.

We have certainly had a warm and gorgeous fall this year.

And the day of their session was no exception!

These children LOVED the camera!

And the camera LOVED them!

Little girl's style? Adorable!

Little man's charm? Irresistible!

And both were so brave while sitting on the top rung of the fence!

Their family could not have been sweeter!

And baby girl? Poor darling did NOT feel good! She was such a trooper for the hour that we took pictures!

She honestly just wanted to go to sleep!

Can't wait to work with this family again! Hopefully baby girl will feel better next time!
